One Morning ft. Al Santos of Ottertrail
OLYWURLD
A little bit of flute and singing for your rainy morning
Oklahoma-based deejay/producer/songwriter/Native American flutist/vocalist, OLYWURLD is one of the bridges between electronic dance music (EDM) and the American Indian community. Remaining true to his House Music roots, Oly continues to push boundaries combining pentatonic tribal melodies with driving baselines while venturing through all of House Music’s sub-genres. Including live vocals and flute, Oly has deejayed clubs and festivals across America from Las Vegas, Dallas, Miami, Washington DC, and New York City. As a producer/songwriter, Oly’s Native-E Music Awards nominated track “Bounce” combined freestyle Native flute with 90’s influenced hip-hop beats showcasing his versatility beyond EDM, while setting up his first album “Together”in 2016. His popular single “Nobody But You” on Dallas house label Make Time Records in 2019 set up his long standing residency at OKC’s Flux Afterhours. Oly was listed as a Top 10 DJ for Future Music’s Next Big Thang in 2008 and Top 50 Emerging Artists at the first Vegas Music Conference. As a Native American Flutist, Oly has performed at The University of Oklahoma’s School of Music, Oscar Jacobson House Art Museum, American Indian and Artificial Intelligence Symposium, and at the Gathering of Nations Powwow. Oly also sings with several champion Native American Singing Drum Groups, predominately with Ottertrail Singers.
